Procedure: Upper and lower blepharoplasty
with canthoplasty (tightening of the lower
eyelids).
Patient
Concerns: This 51 year old female
was 5’6” tall and weighed 140
pounds. This patient was concerned with
the fullness of the upper and lower eyelids
and poor elasticity of the skin on the lower
eyelids. Poor elasticity along the lower
lids contributed to noticeable depression
of her lower lids. In addition, this patient
was concerned about bilateral brow drooping
and brow asymmetry and she underwent an
endoscopic brow lift at the same time.
Dr.
Markus’ Treatment: A conservative
upper lid blepharoplasty was performed.
A small strip of underlying muscle was removed
to assist in the formation of an upper eyelid
crease and fat was also removed. Lower lid
blepharoplasty was performed and the lower
lid fat was repositioned to fill and contour
the depression along the lower portion of
the eyelids.
Patient
Comments: “I am very happy
with the results. I would recommend this
to anyone. Dr. Markus is the best! I have
so much trust in him. I would not give my
face to anyone else!”
