Procedure: Bilateral breast reduction.

Patient Concerns: This 51 year old female was 5’1” tall, weighed 156 pounds and wore a 34DD brassiere.

Dr. Markus’ Treatment: Bilateral breast reduction was performed utilizing the inferior pedicle technique. Preoperatively, the breasts were symmetrical. Approximately 0.66 pounds of tissue was removed from each breast. The patient’s breast size was changed from a 34DD to a 34B/C.

Patient Comments: She is pleased with her new breast size. Her symptoms related to large breasts are completely relieved.
